Originally opened as a funeral home in 1941, the former Kubasiak Funeral Home was purchased in January 1975 by Leonard W. Kolcz. The Kolcz Funeral Home, Inc. is totally owned and operated by Leonard and Betty Kolcz. We are members of the Michigan and National Funeral Directors Associations, Michigan Embalmers Society and Federated Funeral Directors of America and Charter member of the Funeral Ethics Association. Leonard is a pre-need counseling specialist, and is affiliated with the Michigan Funeral Directors Master Escrow Plan, The Michigan Funeral Directors Association and the Michigan Funeral Assurance Program. He is licensed by the State of Michigan as a Mortuary Science Licensee, Pre-need funeral home Provider and an insurance agent for pre-need funeral insurance.
